Sr. CPO Responsibilities:

This position has direct responsibilities for underwriting, structuring, managing, and negotiating complex credit transactions. All associates at this level demonstrate the following responsibilities, in addition to those specific to the role, listed above.

  • Ensuring key clients have face to face contact, travel required annually at a minimum.

  • Financial Steward: Actively manages expenses and budgets in alignment with objectives, making sound financial decisions.
  • Driver of Business Outcomes: Delivers results by effectively prioritizing, inspecting and appropriately delivering on work assignments.

Required Skills:

  • 5-7 years of small business or higher credit underwriting experience
  • Experience with complex structuring involving multiple business financial statements, pass-thru/management entities, and personal guarantors
  • Operates with a sense of urgency in fast-paced environment
  • Works independently & automatously knowing when to involve leader
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to motivate
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to work on multiple tasks
  • Client interviews and meetings (phone and in-person)
  • Face to face contact with key clients and willingness to travel, when applicable
  • Ability to quickly identify deteriorating trends
  • Effectively articulate rationale for difficult credit decisions
  • Thorough knowledge of credit policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements
  • Knowledge of reporting and financial covenants
  • Excellent Microsoft office skills specifically with Excel but including PowerPoint, Word, and OneNote

Desired Skills:

  • Preferably Healthcare Finance experience
  • Commercial Lending Experience
  • Broad knowledge of E2E commercial lending portfolio facets
  • Proficient with applicable commercial underwriting platforms & supporting tools
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent
