In this role, you will support and guide store managers, ensuring that business objectives are met and customers receive an exceptional experience in the stores. You will be responsibility for the performance of multiple stores. As Sr. Manager Retail Stores you will identify and highlight opportunities, promote best practices, and escalate to the Director of Retail Stores where necessary. Your leadership will drive performance and innovation, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

  • Extensive understanding of retail, including team management, product assortment, financial acumen, and operational excellence.
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire teams, fostering a collaborative and motivating work environment.
  • Skills in inventory management, supply chain logistics, and customer service excellence.
  • Ability to analyze data and implement strategies to improve store performance.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Available to visit all stores within your region at least once per month. Preferably working 4 days in store and 1 day from home.

What You're Responsible For

  • Drive Business Performance: Analyze financial reports to identify opportunities for improving store profitability. Ensure follow-up with Store Manager to implement these opportunities.
  • Optimize Labor Management: Analyze labor data to ensure adherence to labor hours budgets and identify opportunities for efficiency. Hold Store Management accountable for their stores' performance.
  • Boost Trade Performance: Analyze weekly trade metrics and champion store-specific actions to enhance performance.
  • Implement Nike Strategy: Cascade and drive Nike’s strategy within the stores you manage, ensuring best practice sharing among peers.
  • Enhance Service & Selling: Execute Service & Selling initiatives and hold Store Management accountable for implementation.
  • Foster Talent & Culture: Coach and develop Store Managers to improve their performance. Ensure store teams are inspired, engaged, and motivated through training programs and celebrations.
  • Achieve Operational Excellence: Complete Operational Excellence reviews to ensure all stores meet Nike's expectations. Partner with Store Managers to ensure SMART actions are created and completed. Maintain Nike brand standards in stores.
