As a Project Manager for Capital One’s Retail Construction Organization, you will be in a diverse role that will leverage your Project Management, Process Management and Process Engineering skills. You will be developing new processes, improving current processes, and leading the governance of select Program Management Office's (PMO) policies and procedures. General Responsibilities:

• Drive and complete the work needed to assure Retail Construction policy and procedures are well managed, certified and audit ready

• Identify, evaluate and complete projects that improve processes and reduce risks across the PMO and Retail Construction space

• Govern and document work adherence to established standards and audit-able criteria

• Leverage problem solving skills to ensure project plans deliver on intent and maintain key project documentation

• Partner with project customers to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership to effectively drive efficiency, risk mitigation and process adherence

• Forge relationships with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of commitments

• Identify ways to improve and streamline business process

• Exhibit a proven track record of project management, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage the work

• Demonstrate outstanding communication and partnership skills which are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders across all levels to manage, inform, and influence outcomes

• Demonstrate organizational agility to adapt to changing demands

• Display strong consulting and collaboration skills

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience

• At least 3 Years Project and Process Management experience

• At least 2 Years Process Engineering experience
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Masters / MBA degree

• 1+ years of Retail or Commercial Construction Experience

• PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification

McLean, VA: $117,300 - $133,900 for Principal Project Manager New York, NY: $128,000 - $146,100 for Principal Project Manager Richmond, VA: $106,700 - $121,700 for Principal Project Manager Wilmington, DE: $106,700 - $121,700 for Principal Project ManagerThis role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
