As a Change Manager, you will specifically take ownership of our real estate portfolio, implementing effective strategies to support our people through office moves, reconfigurations and other critical workplace initiatives.

By leveraging your expertise in change management, you will play a crucial role in helping us navigate these transitions smoothly and ensuring that our workplace evolves in alignment with our EY@Work principles. Additionally, you will promote and educate on best practice change principles and demonstrate change leadership to ensure the required behavioural change is achieved.

Your key responsibilities

  • Lead change initiatives: own and deliver change management for major real estate projects, developing strategies, conducting impact assessments, and measuring success
  • Collaborate with leadership: work closely with the Office Managing Partner and key leaders to establish a clear vision, aligning expectations with EY@Work solutions while identifying resistance
  • Assess and minimise impact: evaluate change impacts, initiate actions to minimise disruption, and generate excitement for transitions
  • Develop change plans: create and implement comprehensive change plans that reflect an outcome-oriented approach
  • Engage change champions: build networks of change champions, educating them on new protocols and behaviours, and co-create outcomes with stakeholders
  • Foster change culture: promote a culture of change leadership, innovation, and agility, including a 'Fail Fast' mindset
  • Build relationships: maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders, including client and non-client facing individuals

Skills and attributes for success

  • Expertise in Change Management: knowledge of relevant methodologies (e.g., Prosci, APMG) and tools, with the ability to tailor approaches to suit stakeholders
  • Agile: ability to flex style accordingly to influence a variety of senior stakeholders and develop strong relationships
  • Outcome oriented: Ability to take on an objective and transform it into a concrete plan, driving completion. Ability to operate calmly under pressure and manage competing priorities
  • Excellent people skills: high emotional intelligence, strong empathy, diplomacy, and the ability to connect with stakeholders at all levels
  • Autonomous worker: capable of operating independently while managing competing priorities
  • Proactive: strong sense of initiative and ability to think innovatively
  • Strong communicator: confident presenter, ability to write and develop high quality content

To qualify for the role, you must have:

  • 5 years+ experience managing change in a large organisation
  • Qualification or extensive experience in relevant change management methodologies and tools.
