DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Conduct complex analysis including data collection, analysis, summarization, and presentation of results to management. Analyze portfolio trend and perform analytics using internal and external behavioral data along with macro-economic trends. Recommend necessary strategy change to optimize risk and return trade-off by analyzing large data and using strong analytical skills. Monitor the performance of existing credit risk management strategies. Work with cross functional areas including IT, Operations, and other Credit Risk groups to ensure successful implementation of new strategies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as Strategic Analytics, Consultant, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Master's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field of study plus three (3) years of experience in the job offered or as Strategic Analytics, Consultant, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires experience with the following skills: credit risk management, financial services or strategy development experience leveraging data analytics; translating complex analysis into concise presentations with sound business conclusions; performance measurement in the financial services industry and translating quantitative information into actionable insights that can be leveraged by both analytic and non-analytic staff; designing and developing interactive Excel and PPT reports with advanced functionalities such as vlookup and pivots; performing data manipulation, data structuring, data design flow and query optimization using programming languages in SQL and SAS; performing exploratory data analysis within large enterprise databases to extract, clean, transform, and load data; and designing and building tracking solutions to improve tool governance and monitoring.
Full-Time. Salary: $126,000 - $172,000 per year
