You will be joining a team of highly motivated, incredibly talented individuals building state of the art, innovative solutions that identify, prevent and act on all forms of abuse on the catalog.We are looking for problem solvers and someone who is up for a challenging and ambiguous problem space. You will have the opportunity to influence multiple teams and set the technical directional vision of the organization. This is a hands-on position where you will get an opportunity to get involved at every level of the software development cycle, from designing and building rock-solid components to deploying and monitoring them in production, as well as mentoring other engineers.
Key job responsibilities
As part of our team, you will get to work on billion-scale search space to detect and action on bad listings. You will get to experiment with and use GenAI(LLM) models to solve our most pressing problems at scale. You will be building low latency, high throughput systems to safeguard the Amazon catalog from fraud. You will work closely with scientists, product partners and other engineers to productionize models. You will also work with a variety of stakeholders including business, program, operational and engineering teams across the organization.
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
