Key job responsibilities
As a Technical Program Manager, you will engage with an experienced cross-disciplinary staff to conceive and design innovative consumer products. In this role, you will:
- Work with key stakeholders in product management and executive teams to define strategy and requirements- Own cross functional development schedules
- Lead cross functional development on new technology from design through mass production, working across all hardware disciplines- Communicate regularly with senior management on status, risks and to drive key decision making
- Manage resource prioritization, drive cost down efforts, look around corners to prevent common development pitfalls.
- Lead key product development milestones following a waterfall style development within hardware.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- 3+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 3+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent
- 3+ years hardware design or development experience, consumer electronics preferred


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience with management reporting and strong technical communication skills, both written and verbal. Must be able to handle ambiguity when dealing with complex problems and able to drive consensus across organizations. Experience with managing or mentoring younger employees is preferred.
