- Lead and Inspire : Play a manager of managers role and manage a diverse team of frontend, mobile and backend engineers, building mobile apps, microservices and full-stack web applications.
- Own the Roadmap : Partner with Product Management to define, prioritize, and deliver on product goals.
- Set Technical Direction : Develop a scalable, maintainable technical strategy and provide architectural guidance. Be ready to dive into hands-on coding when needed.
- Elevate the Team : Drive continuous improvement in processes, mentor engineers and leaders, and foster a culture of collaboration and learning.

- - - - Basic Qualifications ----
- Technical Depth : Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field AND 5+ years full-time Software Engineering work experience prior to Engineering Management experience
- Proven Leadership : 5+ years of software engineering management experience, with a track record of recruiting and developing high-performing teams and managing managers.
- Vision and Execution : Demonstrated ability to set and communicate a compelling vision while ensuring timely and responsible product delivery.
- Action-Oriented : Comfortable moving quickly and thoughtfully, striking a balance between speed and quality.
- Mentorship Skills : Adept at teaching, reviewing code, and guiding team members toward sound technical decisions.

Road Safety Domain Experience:Proven experience building innovative products leveraging computer vision, telematics and advanced AM/ML that help reduce crash risk for drivers on roads.
Insurance Domain Expertise: Proven experience building innovative technology solutions in the insurance space, particularly in claims handling, fraud detection, and operational efficiency.
For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$257,000 per year - USD$285,500 per year.
For Sunnyvale, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$257,000 per year - USD$285,500 per year.
