What the Candidate Will Do- Craft the vision, strategy, and roadmap for your team, including decisions on what to build, buy, or use from open-source.
- Lead the product development lifecycle, encompassing ideation, defining requirements, go-to-market strategy, quality assurance, and launch.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, data science, and internal stakeholders to deliver features that enhance customer experiences.
- Foster innovation and the use of cutting-edge technologies and outside-the-box thinking within the team.
- Identify inefficiencies and opportunities for significant improvements across maps.
- Lead the planning, management, and prioritization of the roadmap, ensuring alignment with overall company strategy and stakeholder interests.
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of your features.
- Stay informed about the latest trends and innovations in the map industry.
- Communicate effectively about the product to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Basic Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (Master's preferred).
- 7+ years of experience as a Product Manager, preferably in the geospatial or mapping industry.
- Proven track record of successfully launching and managing map-based products.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
