This is a customer-facing role that requires strong technical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Your activities will include (but not limited to):Key Responsibilities:- Conducting site assessments at various facilities to proactively prepare for the onsite installation of AWS equipment
- Installing/expanding/provisioning AWS infrastructure at the third-party premises, data center, and/or non-traditional environment
- Troubleshooting network installations & configurations and performing network testing, break/fix and/or decommissioning and solving complex problems- May lead or participate in efforts to develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and tools that improve operational efficiencies
- May lead larger projects that require cross-functional alignment and support, including large-DC installations, global-reaching business initiatives, and/or development of mechanisms to support growth to ensure compliance with global group standards.
- Required travel up to 50% on average - domestic and international. You will be required to travel between locations to install, service, and retrieve AWS equipment.

- Data center operations experience or a similar technical environment including hands-on experience with data center equipment and rack installation
- Basic knowledge of Linux and networking fundamentals
