You will be part of the regional EHS team, reporting to the Regional EHS Director and be rooted at the campus with a reporting line to the MT member responsible for EHS.
What a typical day looks like:
Lead, support and develop the local EHS team in managing all EHS-related aspects for warehouses and offices (e.g. PGS 37-2, DG management, RI&E).
Ensure continuous improvement by developing annual strategic plans for EHS.
Develop and report on EHS budgets, audit schedules, and performance metrics.
Help shape and deliver (corporate) EHS training and awareness programs.
Provide guidance to employees and management on EHS policies and serve as an advisor to the business units.
Participate in project meetings to integrate EHS considerations into process and installation changes.
Coordinate crisis response plans and manage communications during incidents to protect personnel and resources.
Maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including government authorities, NGOs and customers to ensure safety and compliance.
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
Bachelor’s degree (HBO or equivalent) in Safety, Environmental Science, Technology, Engineering, or Management (HKV or i.o).
Proven experience in a similar EHS role within logistics or manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with ISO 45001, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 13485, RI&E processes, DG storage, and all other relevant EU/Dutch regulations.
Demonstrated expertise in crisis and stakeholder management.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Dutch and English.
Experience in an international matrix organization is a plus.
