What you’ll be doing:
Be a technical expert with vision on integrating NVIDIA’s Isaac platform into robot development and simulation architectures to support various robotics applications. This includes creating reference architectures and demos that incorporate best practices around computational efficiency, performance, security, and scalability for complex simulated environments and digital twins.
Support the business development team in guiding the customer through the sales process for NVIDIA’s GPU computing and 3D simulation products. Be responsible for the technical relationship and assist customers in building creative solutions based on NVIDIA technology.
Engage with customers to develop a keen understanding of their goals, strategies, and technical needs, and help to define and deliver high-value solutions that meet these needs.Answer questions and provide mentorship – you will help them build their GPU-enabled robotics simulation and development infrastructure and get the most out of their investment.
Document what you know, and guide others. This can vary from building targeted training for partners and other Solution Architects, to writing whitepapers, blogs, and wiki articles, to working through challenging problems with a partner on a whiteboard.
Keep up to date on the state-of-the-art in robotics, digital twin creation and simulation, and physics engines advancements.
What we need to see:
Excellent verbal, written communication, and technical presentation skills inJapanese. Businesslevel English communication is also a requirement.
BS, MS or PhD in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science.
3+ years of relevant industry experience in robotics development and validation (HW/SW design), and simulation software. ROS/ROS2 development experience is required.
Extensive experience with 3D engines and platforms specifically for robotic simulation (e.g., NVIDIA Omniverse, PhysX, Isaac Sim, Unity, Unreal Engine, Gazebo), including their underlying physics engines and solvers, for tasks such as robot design validation, control algorithm development, synthetic data generation, and operational training in digital twins.
Proficiency with 3D data formats (e.g.OpenUSD, URDF, STEP, FBX, OBJ, glTF) and corresponding workflows for robotics applications (e.g., stereo visual SLAM, LIDAR localization & collision avoidance, motion planning & navigation, AprilTag processing, point cloud processing within a simulated environment).
Strong understanding of numerical methods and solvers used in robotics, kinematics, dynamics, and collision detection.
C/C++/Python programming.
Enjoy collaborating with teams across the organization such asEngineering/Research,Sales, Product, and Marketing.
Self-starter with passion for growth, enthusiasm for continuous learning and sharing findings across the team.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Technical expertise and experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing complex robotic digital twins and large-scale simulation environments, especially within specialized domains such as industrial automation, autonomous vehicles/robots, and/or healthcare robotics.
Development experience with GPU computing, CUDA computing, and NVIDIA Isaac platform, including Omniverse / Isaac Sim and its extensions.
External, customer-facing skillset and background. Experience working directly with Vendors or OEMs to build robotics applications.
Experience with real-time simulation, hardware-in-the-loop (HIL), and software-in-the-loop (SIL) testing methodologies for robotics.
Demonstrated skills in 3D environment reconstruction from real-world scans (e.g., LiDAR, photogrammetry, gaussian splatting) and their efficient import and integration into simulation platforms for digital twin creation.
