As our PMO Governance Specialist, you'll play a pivotal client-facing role ensuring our project management office runs smoothly and meets contractual obligations. You'll bring deep governance expertise and a strong background in SAP or similar large-scale ERP implementations, while building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders to deliver outstanding service throughout the programme lifecycle.


Ko Tō Rourou | Your key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement governance frameworks and processes to ensure effective project management practices.
  • Manage relationships with senior stakeholders, supporting the production of deliverables in accordance with EY methods.
  • Coordinate PMO activities, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, contractual arrangements and adherence to best practices.
  • Support the preparation of regular reporting for different levels of management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support accountability and scope management.
  • Support SAP programme management initiatives and methodology adherence across the programme.

Ngā Pūkenga | Skills and attributes for success

  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) are a plus.
  • 5+ years in PMO governance or related roles.
  • Experience in SAP or similar ERP implementations.
  • Proven experience in PMO governance and coordination.
  • Experience in reporting and performance management within a PMO environment.
  • Familiarity with SAP programme management is strongly preferred.

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
