- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in designing and optimizing data centers, with a focus on machine learning systems.
- Experience with cost and performance modeling for data center infrastructure.
- Experience in defining rack interconnects, cable tray routing, and development of cable tray and telecom network within a data center.
- Experience in data center infrastructure, including power, networking, storage, and cooling systems.
- Experience in general network and telecom design in a data center and with industry standards and guidelines (e.g. TIA).
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in Engineering, Business, relevant field, or engineering license.
- Experience in estimating, mechanical design, operation, and commissioning of mission critical data center mechanical equipment.
- Experience in design, construction, and commissioning of mechanical cooling plants, fire suppression systems, fuel oil systems, domestic water systems, and sanitary sewer systems in mission critical facility design and construction environment.
- Experience designing complex modular building scale assemblies, and understanding of mechanical tolerances and tolerance analysis.
- Operational knowledge of construction safety procedures.
- Knowledge of mechanical engineering and design principles with expertise in design for medium-scale production, structural beams/elements, and international building codes.
