As a Systems Development Engineer of the Backbone Enterprise, and Regional Engineering (BERE) team, you will work hand-in-hand with Software Development and Network Engineering teams to drive stability, consistency, and sustainability of the network while never losing sight of the high security bar our customer’s demand. You’ll apply your large-scale understanding of computing solutions to write code and manage services that delight our customers.You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You will be responsible for the design, implementation and quality of services you deliver. Your experience working in a systems development or in an enterprise environment will help us implement automated solutions across a variety of applications and systems.You’ll also:- Design, implement, test, deploy and maintain innovative solutions to transform service performance, durability, cost, and security.

A day in the life
In this role you:- Sit at the computer during scheduled work hours with appropriate breaks while maintaining a high level of alertness and attention to detail.AWS Global Connectivity and Network Availability (GCNA) Vides:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- 4+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby
- Experience with Linux/Unix
- 3+ years of experience in monitoring, troubleshooting and resolving system and software components.

- Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure
- Experience in networking, storage systems, operating systems and hands-on systems engineering
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes
- Experience with distributed systems at scale
- Experience working in an Agile environment using the Scrum methodology
- Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
