Join the Network and Edge Group (NEX) to plan, develop and sell infrastructure acceleration solutions using Infrastructure Processing Units (IPU) in the Cloud, Telco and Enterprise market segments.

Your duties will include some or all of the typical projects our team is responsible for:

  • Collaborating with a team of Designers, Engineers, Experts, Technicians and Program Managers to build, test, and manufacture Ethernet Board Designs.
  • Power on, debug, and test designs in our labs including everything from PCB rework to Python scripting, to testing PCIe and Ethernet Interfaces.
  • Creating Schematic Designs using Cadence Design Entry HDL.
  • Reviewing PCB designs and performing critical routing with Cadence Allegro.
  • Working with vendors to evaluate circuit components.
  • Partner with Silicon Designers, Mechanical Designers, Architects, and Software Engineers to specify and optimize product design and testing.
  • Supporting our customers and internal teams with documentation, reference designs, test results, specifications, and top-tier technical support.
  • Organizing a team of experts to solve new problems.
  • Communicating results and recommendations to customers.
Qualifications:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schooland/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or related field plus 5+ years of industry experience.
  • 2+ years’ experience with hardware design and development, including schematic capture and PCB layout.
  • 1+ years’ experience programming languages such as Python for testing and debug.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and network analyzers.
  • Experience with PCIe Ethernet protocols and networking concepts.
  • Experience with simulation tools and methodologies for hardware testing and validation.
  • Experience reviewing PCB designs and performing critical routing with Cadence Allegro.
  • Experience working with vendors to evaluate circuit components.
