As a Technology Support II team member in Post Trade Technology Production Management, you will play a vital role in ensuring the operational stability, availability, and performance of our production application flows. Your efforts in troubleshooting, maintaining, identifying, escalating, and resolving production service interruptions for all internally and externally developed systems support a seamless user experience and a culture of continuous improvement.This position requires a blend of creative and critical thinking skills to ensure the stability and efficiency of our applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Production Monitoring:Oversee production application monitoring and implement automation tools, platforms, and processes.
Disaster Recovery:Plan, execute, and document Disaster Recovery tests to ensure system resilience.
Design, implement, and improve monitoring tools and automation components to enhance application stability and meet SLAs.
Qualifications:
BS/BA degree or equivalent experience.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in service-level changes and troubleshooting components.
Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and time management.
Demonstrated experience with cloud-based infrastructure platforms such as AWS, GCP.
Knowledge of batch scripting, Python, or Shell Scripting.
Ability to produce SQL queries in relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.).
Unix administration skills.
Exposure to general-purpose programming languages and a willingness to learn new coding languages and skills.
Familiarity with Application Health Dashboards or Machine Learning Projects is a plus.
Strong focus on automation and process improvement.
Understanding of the application development lifecycle.
Understanding of ITIL processes is a plus.
