The specialist will collaborate with our customers and partners on key engagements. You will develop and deliver proof-of-concept projects, technical workshops, and support implementation projects in order to migrate Applications from on-premise databases like Oracle/SQL*Server to AWS eg. AWS RDS, Aurora-PostgreSQL/MySQL or other Open Source platforms.You will focus on customer solutions such as high volume OLTP/OLAP environments, designing and deploying future state petabyte-scale data services and building and/or designing reference configurations to enable our customers and influence AWS RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB and other NoSQL databases adoption.Key job responsibilities
- Act as a thought leader sharing best practices through forums such as AWS blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures and public-speaking events such as AWS Summit, AWS re: Invent, etc. Participate as a leader in AWS technical communities.About the team

- 5+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
- 3+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
- 2+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
- Knowledge of AWS services
