Responsible for the design and development of opto-mechanical precision components and assemblies for reticle inspection systems
- Define requirements, perform feasibility studies, develop concepts, and create detailed 3D models.
- Perform tolerance stack-up analysis to verify functional design and generate drawings using Geometric Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Perform engineering calculations and FEA simulations for structural, modal, and thermal analyses
- Conduct design reviews throughout the design process to implement multi-functional group input into final design.
- Help build and test prototypes, and support system integration and validation
- Support release and handoff to manufacturing through engineering documentation (BOMs, assembly procedure, test procedures).
Required Skills:
- Minimum 3 years work experience in 3D solid modeling
- Familiar with manufacturing processes including machining, sheet metal fabrication, welding fabrication and castings.
