About the RoleTwitch is building the future of interactive entertainment. As a Software Engineer on the On Demand Platform team, you'll work to build the systems that power VODs and Clips on Twitch for our global community of creators and viewers. We're looking for someone with a strong interest in backend software development and a growth mindset.You can work in San Francisco, CA; Irvine, CA; New York, NY; or Seattle, WAYou Will- Design, build, and maintain highly scalable microservices and systems- Deliver high-quality code, tests, and documentation- Work with cross-functional partners such as Product and Design to build great user experiences

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent industry experience as a Software Engineer
- Foundation in software development, data structures, and algorithms
- Familiarity with scalability, concurrency, API design, data modeling, and distributed systems fundamentals

- Background in building microservices at scale
- Experience working with AWS infrastructure
