Responsible for the overall management of the tax liabilities, of Citi, both directly and in connection with transactions with clients, including the related compliance, financial reporting, planning and controversy processes.
Contributes to the planning, accounting, filing and the reporting of tax liability of the company.
Assists in determining and compiling information required to satisfy income tax filing and related requirements at all levels of jurisdiction.
May participate in managing payments to tax authorities in compliance with specific tax regulations.
Strategic professional who advises on directional strategy by analyzing subject matter and its application in own job and the business.
Focuses on the implementation of policies and procedures.
Uses communication and diplomacy to guide and influence others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers.

Qualifications:
6-10 years relevant experience
Education:
Bachelors degree, potentially Masters degree

Legal entity effective tax rate management via month end / quarter end close and review.
Annual U.S GAAP Deferred tax asset review and substantiation
Separate Audited Financials - Income tax footnote and disclosures
Quarterly income tax roll-forward analysis review / Quarterly Income Taxes Paid
Annual Permanent Return to Accrual Analysis
Monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliation and Substantiation – E-Recon Account Owners
Annual Business Segment DTA Allocation true-up
Risk and Control monitoring and documentation
Prepare, maintain, or review ETR and DTA analysis and documentations to ensure full compliance with Citi’s End User Computing (EUC) and change management policies
Prepare responses to Internal/External Auditors and management/controller/business governance and oversight inquiries on legal entity ETR, DTA and current tax balance.

Ability to work with large data. Be able to organize and present clear and logical summary
Ability to communicate simply, clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing, adjusting style to suit the audience
