Key job responsibilities
As a Senior Systems Engineer you will define, design, verify, and launch a novel drone delivery system. Key responsibilities include:
- Serve as the systems engineering owner of key safety critical cloud based subsystems throughout the entire product development lifecycle.
- Lead interdisciplinary trade studies across Prime Air software, system, product, and regulatory functions to determine the critical requirements for a scalable cloud based system architecture.
- Generate key systems engineering artifacts CONOPs, design documents, interface control documents and requirements.
- Develop comprehensive requirements documentation that meets aviation certification standards while enabling rapid innovation
- Drive test plans, write test cases, generate automated test procedures and conduct formal verification.A day in the life

- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, or Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience in full lifecycle Aerospace Systems Engineering.
- Proven ability to drive system design and analysis of safety critical systems.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across disciplines collect requirements, describe product features and technical designs.

- Masters degree in Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, or Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Working experience with ARP 4754A, DO-178B/C, and/or DO-278C.
- Prior systems engineering ownership of communication, weather, and/or geospatial systems.
- Experience in systems design, software development, operations, automation, and process improvement experience in a production environment.
