Key job responsibilities
- Working with hardware design teams as a subject matter expert in electromagnetic environmental effects testing throughout the development process, including: Test requirements; Test Readiness Reviews; EMC test and support; Test Report Documentation
- Development and maintenance of EMC test software and report generation
- Support of EMC equipment calibration and maintenance
- Completion of EMC test procedures and test reports, support teams with test configurations, and perform testing to the MIL-STD-461 and/or DO-160 requirements- Definition and coordination of EMI/EMC test scheduling for all satellite electronic subsystems and vehicle/spacecraft level

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or equivalent degree, or experience
- 3+ years of experience in a hardware design or testing role
- 5+ years of experience in spaceflight avionics testing as an electromagnetic environmental effects engineer
- Experience with using analysis tools to define requirements for emissions and susceptibility of avionics components
- Knowledge and understanding of EMC industry standards and specifications for aerospace (MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-1541A, DO-160 etc)
- Experience modelling electromagnetic environments using computational SW (CST, HFSS, etc).
- Experience with EMC lab test equipment, setup, and configurations
- Experience with Qualification Procedures, Reports, Test Readiness Reviews, and failure reporting and investigation
