This type of engineer is responsible for developing and maintaining the web design, layout, and code of a website or application. The goal is to create an effective, seamless user experience, with intuitive, attractive pages that enable people to interact with the product or service quickly and efficiently. The front-end engineer must have a deep understanding of programming languages and have extensive experience with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS. They will also have a passion for crafting user-friendly interfaces, user flows, and be constantly learning about emerging technologies. The front-end engineer will also be expected to collaborate with other team members to create, debug, and troubleshoot code for different platforms and devices. They will be required to develop creative solutions for impairing issues, view presentations and reports to assess the effectiveness of their work, and ensure the highest quality standards are met. Additionally, they will be expected to stay up-to-date on the latest technologies to ensure compatibility with the latest browsers and devices, and modify frameworks and features to meet the clients’ needs. This role requires a great deal of precision and attention to detail to create the best user experience possible. The successful front-end engineer should have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, must be able to manage competing priorities and deadlines, and possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
