One of the most critical positions in any tech business is a Human Resources Coordinator. A Human Resources Coordinator spearheads a variety of administrative functions and duties for the Human Resources Department. As a Human Resources Coordinator, you're tasked with providing support during the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new employees. Your primary responsibility involves managing and reviewing the recruitment process. This includes job postings, sourcing and vetting applications, and making offers to candidates. You'll also be responsible for performing background checks and reference checks. You'll be expected to develop and maintain relationships with employers and recruiters in the industry. You'll be the point of contact for all incoming resumes and correspondence from potential candidates. As an essential liaison between the Human Resources department and other organizational departments, you'll be an integral player in providing support throughout the onboarding process of new employees. This involves running orientation programs, coordinating training sessions, and providing resources and documents to new hires. In addition, you may also be responsible for administering payroll systems, employee benefits, and other HR documents such as employee contracts. You'll also be expected to report the performance of the Human Resources Department functions to the HR Manager. A successful Human Resources Coordinator should possess excellent organizational and communication skills. You must be able to process information quickly and efficiently while maintaining a positive and supportive work environment. In addition, you should have a strong understanding of the tech industry and its needs.
