This role is responsible for developing and maintaining documentation for technology products and services. This includes analyzing existing technical documentation and making improvements to make them more informative, making sure that the documentation is up to date and that the contents accurately convey the desired message. Documentation Specialists must be proficient with MS Office and be able to effectively use a variety of software applications, including some depending on the requirements of the project.
A successful Documentation Specialist must be knowledgeable in the technology field and be able to quickly comprehend new technical information. They should also have excellent writing skills, an eye for detail, and be able to manage multiple projects at once.
