Are you looking for a role to demonstrate your risk management expertise in a tech-focused company? As a Chief Risk Officer (CRO) at Expoint, you will be responsible for providing proactive risk oversight and management of all enterprise risk within the organization. Your job will be to identify, measure and assess risk across the organization, develop strategies and procedures to manage such risks, evaluate their effectiveness and report to senior management. You will serve as a leader and expert on risk management and be a trusted advisor to the board of directors. You will become a key member of the leadership team, and work with other departments to ensure processes and operations are compliant with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards. Additionally, you will regularly evaluate emerging risks, recommend changes and coordinate with external parties. You will also be expected to foster a strong culture of risk management and ensure that staff are aware of the organization’s strategy and risk framework. You will be responsible for overseeing the risk committee and staying on top of regulatory changes or shifts in the industry to ensure their up-to-date compliance and internal processes. With excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills, you will be able to influence and support the board and senior management in making sound strategic and tactical decisions. Drawing upon your knowledge and expertise, you will strive to minimize or reduce risk with the ultimate goal of protecting the organization from potential losses.
